I experienced a lot of “firsts” today … beginning with my first final sound mix, followed by my first official film screening and my first time crying in public! Yup, folks – I totally did not see it coming but prior to my screening I was asked to say a few words and a few [...]

Today was a lot of sitting and waiting (minus the tea as Jonno has abandoned me now that the editing is over). Dave Whitehead was working on the sound design, Chris Todd on the dialogue and Tim Prebble on the sound effects, and therefore there was very little for me to do but wait until [...]

Today Jonno and I had a lot of tea (and by a lot I mean enough to sink a ship!). Why, you ask? Well, it just so happens that we finished early! Seems to be an on-going theme with my movie, but much to everyone’s surprise, Jonno and I had pretty much locked picture yesterday. [...]

Well, work on my film has finished.  We did the sound mix today and, although we ran short on time, everything turned out great.
I am so grateful to have had this amazing opportunity.  I learned so much and had a wonderful time making a film I care very deeply about.
