It’s Day 3 at Park Road Post. The first two days of editing went smoothly and now my editor, Jonno, and I are just fine tuning. Tomorrow I get into the online edit and sound mix. ParkRoad is a truly amazing facility; state-of-the-art and ridiculously comfortable – the people are all really helpful and super-friendly too.

What I’ve realised during this whole process is that as much as I love low budget, do-it-yourself filmmaking, this way of doing things is just far less painful and a heck of a lot more fun too! I’m just truly grateful that I’ve been given this little taste.

Just finished the edit – BAM!!! I think it’s gonna be a cool little flick! A big thanks at this point to the producers, all the production people, Aaron the DOP, Joe the 1st AD, Jonno the editor, Alison and Tony at ParkRoad and Gary Leano and Craig at Afterglow for the sweet titles! Tomorrow we do the online edit and begin the sound design process – my favourite part …
